curl -X POST https://api.glianalabs.com/v1/tools/contract-scan \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -d '{"address":"0xdAC17F958D2ee523a2206206994597C13D831ec7","chain":"ethereum"}'

When to use it

Use before an agent approves, buys or signs anything involving an unfamiliar token or contract. Inputs: address (required, EVM 0x address), chain (optional: ethereum default, base, bsc, polygon, arbitrum, optimism). Returns is_contract (false for an ordinary wallet or a self-destructed contract), bytecode_bytes, standards detected (ERC-20/721/1155), proxy with the standard and the implementation it forwards to, owner_powers naming each privileged capability found - mint, pause, blacklist, fee changes, upgradeability, SELFDESTRUCT, DELEGATECALL, CREATE2 - plus the named functions and a count of selectors it could not name. Works on an UNVERIFIED contract deployed minutes ago, which is when the question matters and when explorers are still empty, and cannot be fooled by published source that differs from what runs. owner_powers are capabilities, never accusations: USDT can pause and blacklist and is the largest stablecoin on Ethereum.

What it costs

$0.0040 per successful call — flat, with no plan, minimum or monthly fee. A call that fails validation is refused before it runs, so it is never charged.
