When to use it

Inputs: image_url or image_base64 (required). Returns faces[] with bbox, det_score and age/gender per face — no embeddings, which is why it is the cheapest of the face tools. Nothing is stored. To upload a file, POST the raw image to /v1/media first and pass the URL it returns.

What it costs

$0.0030 per successful call — flat, with no plan, minimum or monthly fee. A call that fails validation is refused before it runs, so it is never charged.
