-d '{"name":"glianalabs"}'When to use it
Use when an agent names a new library, org or product and needs to know what is already taken. Inputs: name (required, 1-63 chars of a-z 0-9 dot underscore hyphen), domains (optional boolean, default true). Returns registries[] for GitHub, npm, PyPI, crates.io, RubyGems and Docker Hub with available true/false/null and the page URL, domains[] for .com .io .dev .app .net checked against registry RDAP rather than DNS (an unresolved domain is still taken), and a summary line. Package registries and domains ONLY - it deliberately does not probe social platforms, because that is account enumeration against sites whose terms forbid it. null means the registry did not answer, never that the name is free.
What it costs
$0.0040 per successful call — flat, with no plan, minimum or monthly fee. A call that fails validation is refused before it runs, so it is never charged.
Not sure this is the right endpoint? GET /v1/consult?intent=… is
free and answers that.
