GlianaAI vs OpenRouter

OpenRouter routes LLM traffic across providers behind one key and a prepaid balance. We do the same for chat and go wider, with 402 instead of a key.

How OpenRouter works

One OpenAI-compatible endpoint fronting many LLM providers, paid from a prepaid balance held on your account, authenticated with an API key.

How GlianaAI differs

Our /v1/chat/completions is OpenAI-compatible too, but the balance is optional and the default is that your own wallet pays each call. The same gateway also sells image, video, music, speech, market data and identity — LLM chat is one category, not the product.

When OpenRouter wins

Pure LLM routing at volume. Their provider coverage and fallback for chat models is deeper than ours, and chat is what they are for.

When GlianaAI wins

Anything that mixes modalities in one job — transcribe, summarise, then illustrate — and any caller that cannot hold an account. Chat billing quotes estimated input plus your max_tokens up front rather than surprising you afterwards.

The honest note

For chat alone, OpenRouter has more models and a longer track record of routing them. We match the interface so switching costs you a base URL, in either direction.

Try it without signing up

There is nothing to provision. This asks the gateway which endpoint fits, and costs nothing.
